*Leoniki Residence* is located in Platanes, near the large resort of Rethymnon, Crete. The resort is close to the beach, local shops, supermarkets, and lots of good restaurants. There are frequent buses to Rethymnon (from where buses to all areas of Crete can be accessed), and taxis are everywhere. Take public transport for excursions to sites of historical interest and beauty spots. You may also hire a car or scooter, if required. There are daily road-trains into the hills to various places of interest, inexpensive and well worth the relaxing journeys. Chania is also an interesting and fun destination!
