WorldMark by Wyndham (formerly TrendWest) is a multi-destination vacation club whose resort network includes timeshare destinations around the world. With nearly 90 timeshare properties in the continental US, Hawaii, Mexico, as well as other affiliated resorts, there is almost nowhere in the world you can’t explore as a WorldMark by Wyndham member.
Known as "WorldMark the Club," WorldMark by Wyndham has made timeshare exchange easy by allowing its members to exchange their timeshare at any of WorldMark’s resort locations using a simple credit-based vacation system. WorldMark by Wyndham owners can also exchange their credits through the Resort Condominiums International (RCI) network of worldwide properties.
WorldMark by Wyndham timeshare exchange resorts include: WorldMark Resorts, WorldMark Asia Pacific Resorts; WVR Affiliate Resorts; VI Associate Resorts; Wyndham Hotels and Resorts (for TravelShare Members only and not available to owners of Worldmark resales) and Associate Hotels that are affiliated with WorldMark by Wyndham.
One popular advantage of being a WorldMark by Wyndham timeshare owner is the opportunity to enjoy WorldMark bonus time. Bonus time is a typically timeshare week that not been sold or rented by the resort, homeowners association (HOA), or timeshare exchange company and that is then made available to WorldMark owners at significant savings.
WorldMark timeshare owners can take advantage of bonus time within a 14-day or shorter period of notice. This deeply discounted vacation opportunity can be booked in increments of one to four days. As a WorldMark by Wyndham owner, you can search for bonus time vacations via the WorldMark member web pages. Essentially, for WorldMark owners, bonus time is like enjoying timeshare at a discounted price and without any annual timeshare fee.
WorldMark understands that last minute travel doesn’t work for everyone, so they also offer inventory specials to make discounted vacations available to more of their members. These are vacation opportunities selected based on current and historical data that forecasts periods of low occupancy for the resorts and dates targeted. In other words, Wyndham is projecting where there may be availability and then offering their membership great deals at these resorts during these times.
An inventory special is typically offered only for midweek stays (Sunday through Thursday), but occasionally include weekends, as well. The minimum charge for an inventory special stay is never less than $40 per night. Units may be booked up to 60 days in advance of check-in, even if the owner is booking for a guest rather than for himself. There is no limit to the number of inventory specials a WorldMark by Wyndham owner can book at a time, and length of the vacation stay can be as much as 30 consecutive nights.
Ownership with WorldMark includes many benefits and services, some at no charge and others for which there is a nominal fee.
