Free
Reservation Transactions
As a Fairfield eDiscovery VIP Member, you are entitled to unlimited
reservation transactions at no additional cost. When you call eDiscovery
Vacations Reservations to make or change a reservation, that process
is call a reservation transaction. Typically non-VIP FairShare Plus
members receive one free reservation transaction for every 77,000 points.
Additional transactions require a supplementary reservation transaction
fee of $25.00.
Housekeeping Service Credits
As a eDiscovery Vacations member, you receive housekeeping service
as part of your membership, However; depending on how you use your points,
you may need to pay an additional cleaning charge.
eDiscovery
Vacations members receive one Housekeeping Credit for every 1,000 points.
For example, if you have 189,000 points, you have 189 Housekeeping Credits,
enough to cover a two-bedroom unit for two one-week vacations. If you
choose to vacation for two full weeks in a two-bedroom unit, plus an
additional long weekend in a one-bedroom unit, the Housekeeping Credits
you were allocated cover the first two weeks, but, as shown on the chart,
you would need to purchase an additional 28 maid credits to cover the
extra weekend.
The number
of any housekeeping credits required is based upon the length of stay
and the size of the unit. If your reservation is for a Doubleshare/Lockoff
Unit(see glossary), a corresponding number of Housekeeping Credits is
required. Additional Housekeeping Credits cost $1.00 per credit, paid
at confirmation. The Housekeeping Credits chart shows how to determine
the Housekeeping Credits may be needed.
Housekeeping
refers to the once per week major cleaning that takes place before or
after a member's vacation. More frequent cleanings during your stay
may be available at certain resorts at an additional cost.

Changing
A Reservation
If you plans change and you need to revise your vacation's date, unit
size, length of stay or resort location, we always try to be helpful.
However; your new reservation request must be of a type that you were
eligible to confirm when your original reservation was made. For example,
changing a reservation from seven nights to three nights is permissible
only if such a split-week reservation was allowed during the time frame
of your original reservation.
If your new reservation takes fewer points than your original request,
that point difference will be lost.
If you
are revising a reservation within 30 days of your original check-in
date, your new vacation using these points must be taken within 30 days
of your original check-in date.
Canceling
A Reservation
If you have to cancel a reservation, be sure to notify a eDiscovery
Vacations reservationist as soon as possible. We will be glad to accommodate
your change of plans, subject to the following requirements:
When a
land accommodation reservation is canceled more than 30 days prior to
the check-in date, the points from the canceled vacation become "Canceled
Reservation Points." These points must be used within 10 months
of the date from which your original reservation was made or by the
end of the Use Year End Date, whichever comes first.
For the
land accommodation reservations canceled 30 days or less from the check-in
date, these points become "Limited Account Points." These
points can only be used for a reservation that is made within 30 days
of check-in date, you have a 10-day grace period from when you made
your reservation, up to your check-in date, in which to cancel those
reservations.
Requesting
A Guest Confirmation
If you would like to let someone else use your vacation, simply confirm
your vacation time and then share the fun by requesting a guest confirmation
for only $25.00. Please note that a guest confirmation is required if
the eDiscovery Vacations member whose name appears on the confirmation
will not be traveling on the vacation.
Unit Upgrades
When you're within 45 days of the start of your vacation at a Fairfield
resort, we will extend to you the benefits of a FairShare Plus VIP Gold
member. If there's a larger unit available than the one you have reserved,
we'll be happy to upgrade you one level with no additional points required.
Express "Show-n-Go"
True VIP treatment allows you to experience rapid check-in at our Fairfield-managed
resorts. Just come to check-in and show us personal identification.
We'll have your key and check-in packet waiting...so off you go, ready
to enjoy the day!
Early Check-in
Another VIP benefit you'll enjoy is early check-in. Unpack your bags
and start enjoying your stay two hours prior to the standard check-in
time. Accessibility is based on room availability at Fairfield-managed
properties only.
Points Rental For Extra Fun
Once you've used your total allotment of points, you may rent additional
points from available inventory to give yourself some extra vacation
fun. You may rent points for additional nights or to complete a portion
of a night's reservation ("partial night") at any resort location,
60 days or less in advance of the requested check-in date, for $5.00
per 1,000 points. Up to 10 months in advance, you may also rent points
for a partial night for $9.00 per 1,000 points.
